Karnival Kokurikulum Pendidikan Khas Daerah Petaling Utama

12 May 2026 - Hextarworld World at Empire City, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Today is the 3rd day of competition in the ‘Karnival Kokurikulum Pendidikan Khas Peringkat Daerah Petaling Utama’. With activities in Badminton and Chess already completed on 6th and 11th May 2026, today’s competition is in Cup Stacking and Creative Drawing. With dozens of teams competing, the enthusiasm and spirit of the children is clearly felt as you walk through the event area. Teachers and parents are showing strong support for their teams, hard at work trying to win placings in this year’s event. APHD Channel is proud to be supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Education (MOE) through the ‘Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Petaling Utama’ (PPD-PU) in making this event a success. 

This event is part of an educational inclusive platform designed to strengthen out of class activities in sports and arts. The aim is to cultivate talent, build self confidence and develop social skills amongst Special Needs students.

Tomorrow marks the final day of competition with grand finale in the Dance category where we will see teams from several schools competing to win the top spot in dance performance within the special education ring. With a dozen teams competing from schools in Petaling Utama district, we are expecting fierce competition from all of them for the main prize. Follow up for the final update on the event tomorrow.
